18: Aussie vs American Toilets

Okay, so after spending a few weeks travelling around continental America, I now have valid evidence to prove that Australian toilets and bathrooms are far superior to American and Canadian bathrooms.
Firstly, Australian toilets have two settings. Half and full flush. It makes sense, you see. Gives the toiletee a chance to choose between more water or less, depending on the situation. American toilets have one sort of lever thing, that you push down and the entire bowl of after gets flushed. The entire bowl, might I add, being twice the size of Australian toilets.
Australian toilets are designed to save water and not get blocked. American toilets require those big ugly rubber plugs to remove blockages in the toilet because they're so unreliable.
And the taps, both in the showers and in the sinks, are stupid. More often than not, there's only one tap and it's a push-pull type system with a twisty-turny to the side to change the temperature.
WHAT?!
It's stupid. I'll get you some photo evidence soon.
The same deal goes with the shower, the tap is the same alien thing and it turns the bath tap on, then you have to pull this thing to make it change the water from the bath tap to the showerhead.
ARGH!
And of course it's different in every hotel so occasionally you just have to deal with cold water showers. Ergh.
That's my rant, so I'll see you guys around.
Stay cool!
